I woke up at 5 am the morning in Durbanville to travel to Mouille Point Cape Town to get this golden hour sunrise… It was cold, but worth it…

Boland Model Aircraft Club

Boland Model Aircraft Club I personally think is the best club I have been to in the Western Cape. Look at that space…It’s beautiful to fly here and the coolest guys to fly with.

A short video of where I’m going to stay for the next 3 years. I just love this place and with a added bonus of a very old machine museum right outside my door. Lovely people and wonderful area. With Rosie as Trade Winds horse, there is nothing more to ask…

Cape Town Mouille Point Night Shoot

One of the most stunning nights in Mouille Point, Cape Town. A little hazy but almost a windless night. When I got up in the air I could see that the Stadium and Table Mountain was not lit up, but still amazing views. These photos where taken at a height of about 170 meters altitude and about 500 meter offshore. The camera was set between 4 and 8 seconds shutter speed with a ISO of 100. This amazing aerial platform did these photos with a smile, almost like a tripod in the air.

PEP (Parow) Opening of New Floor

Today was the opening of two new floors in the PEP HQ Parow.  A huge building currently houses more then 500 employees, but still expanding.  I had the honour to see the new added on floors from the inside and personally I think it is a job well done.  I had a chance to meet some of the staff and what a fantastic bunch of people … please give me a job here, lol :).  Unfortunately I arrived a little late due to the Cape Town chaotic traffic and the nice thing was that everyone waited for me before proceeding with the opening.  I would just like to thank everyone for the opportunity given to me to be part of this exciting opening.  A special thanks to Guillaume du Toit for making me the pilot to capture the special footage today.

A friend’s house…

These pictures I took for a friend of mine so he can show family overseas what his place looks like. This was one massive piece of ground that he subdivided into two properties. This is a example what can be done for estate agents that needs that extra few photo’s to sell a property.
